November
Sparkles goes Best of Winners on November 1st at the Trillium Dog Fanciers show for 2 points!
 
October
First weekend of the month, and Diesel went to the Pine Ridge KC show on Friday afternoon. Shown only one show, he won the breed and earned a Group 2 under Judge Joy Huntley in an amazing group of dogs.  Sunday Lola and Sparkles earned the Temperament Test title! Sparkles is now Kansa’s There’s Nothing Like This, TT and Lola is Ch. Gatehouse Lock N Load, CA, TT!  Pinky and Diesel also had their heart check up at the OVC heart study…both had great check ups!

September
We had a great time at the Finger Lakes, New York Wine Country circuit. Diesel showed well, and now only needs 1 point to complete his AKC championship.  Lola showed well and managed to earn her AKC Lure Coursing title over the weekend! Lola is now Ch. Gatehouse Lock N Load, CA. Back in Ontario, Karsten and Matt Russell also earned their TT …congrats!
 
August
Another quick trip to New York and Diesel is now just 2 points shy of his U.S. championship! For fun we took the Canine Good Neighbour and he passed! Diesel is now BISS/BIS Gr. Ch. Gatehouse K Hold Your Fire, T.T., WAC, CGN
July
Great weekend in Lima, Ohio for Diesel & Gatehouse!  Diesel was shown two days and picked up the major BOTH DAYS, 4 points each and a best of winners!  Then to show how he is not just a pretty face, Diesel went out and passed his WAC with flying colours! Very proud of this young boy!
Milo x K.T. pups arrived on July 12th, 7 pups – all are spoken for. 
June
Great weekend in Lima, Ohio with Diesel! Diesel was Winner’s dog for a four point major under breeder judge Dr. Mimi Brown.  We then took the Working Apptitude Evaluation under Eve Auch and passed! Sunday, Diesel took winner’s dog and best of winners for another four point major under judge Ken Buxton! Thank you to all three judges who had very nice things to say about Diesel. 
Successful weekend for Diesel, who won the Thames Valley Doberman specialty on Saturday June 21st and was Best Bred By in Group on Sunday June 22nd!
Thank you to the judges for these wins.  Next it’s off to the US for the American Championship.   
Pinky had her pups on June 12th.  A black boy, red boy, and red girl. All doing well.  KT is looking good and is due around July 12th. It will be a busy summer here!

May
Great news from Ottawa where Gatehouse’s first natural earred doberman earns his Canadian Championship title! Thank you Michelle for sticking with this and putting on 8 points.  It’s not easy! And thank you to Brenda Johnson who handled archie for those final two points to finish.  We’re very happy!
In Ohio, Diesel managed to earn Winners Dog, Best of Winners, Best Owner Handler and Owner Handler Group 3, and Best Bred By and Bred by Group 2! Very successful weekend which also included Reserve Winners Dog to a major at the Specialty! 
April
We had a fabulous trip to the DPCC Nationals with Diesel taking Select Dog at the Nationals under Judge Betty Leininger.  We also attended the Victoria County show, where Diesel took the breed and two group fours, and Lola the shorthair won Breed over four specials and an entry of 12 for a four point major win.  Lola is now at six points towards her championship!
Looking forward to the DPCC Nationals over the Easter weekend! Happy to announce that we are DPCC 2012 Conformation Breeder of the Year! and even more exciting is that Ozzy is the 2012 CD Doberman of the Year!

Great results for Diesel at the Nickle KC show in Sudbury March 28-30. Diesel won five of six breeds, and also two group 2nds and a group 3!  Lola made her debut and took her first couple points.   Diesel is currently number 5 Doberman in Canada.
February
Diesel wins group 2 at the Ontario Breeders KC show under Mr. Mike Jackman.  We’re on the board!  Congrats to Colt and Kaline for their new AKC Rally Novice title! Kaline is Gatehouse As Time Goes By, a Dolce & Sam puppy.  Congrats also to Colt and Juno for their Rally Excellent title!
January
Happy New Year everyone!  We’re happy to announce that Diesel ended his first year as the number 8 Doberman in Canada, always breeder-owner handled.   We’re planning to show Diesel in Canada and also hopefully in the U.S. to earn his AKC championship.  We have three dogs to start this year – Monty, Lola the shorthair, and Sparkles.  2014 will be a very busy and successful year!
We are planning our litter with Pinky x Irish for this spring…more to come once Pinky is in season ….
