2015 & 2016

Happy New Year everyone!  Our first attempt at a show in the US this year did not go well, thanks to a large snow storm.  Diesel still needs just one point to complete his AKC championship.
Brie and Oscar (Milo x KT pups) are coming along and we’re hoping to get them out in March to a show.  Sparkles is CKC major pointed now and will be out to finish her CKC championship and hopefully this spring her WAC.  Lola has 2 points now AKC and will be out too.  Looking for the warmer weather!!!
We’re going to be at the dog show in Orangeville, Ontario March 14 and 15th. Oscar’s first show …
We have two new American Champions! Am/Can BIS BISS GR Ch. Gatehouse K Hold Your Fire, TT, CGN, WAE, ROM (US and CAN) “Diesel” finished April  5, 2015! The same day Lola, Am/Can Ch. Gatehouse Lock N Load, CA, TT went breed over specials from the classes! Lola went on to take another 3 majors in a row at the Perry, GA shows with Stephan handling  to finish her AKC Championship, finishing in 3 weekends! Check out their pages for updated photos!
Quiet month in May, we participated in the CERF clinic with excellent results.  We also traveled to Kalamazoo, Michigan for an AKC dog show.  Rumour, aka MBPISS Gr. Ch. Gatehouse Scandalous, TT “Rumour” has started her show career in the States.  Rumour is owned and loved by Pam Plea and co-owned by Gatehouse.  May 31st was a busy day, as Sparkles whelped her puppies. Updates are on the Q Litter page.
Busy month with puppies and showing in the US.
A few more trips to the US earn Rumour reserve to a 5 point major.  She has been reserve a few times now.  Diesel has been shown selectively in the US, earning two best of breed wins and is now half way to his Grand Championship in the US.  This month is the Canadian doberman national.  Ginger (Dolce x Jordan) is due to whelp puppies the end of the month …. they will be whelped in Ohio. Information can be found under the “R” litter on our website. Questionnaire link is under the “Litter” tab.
We had a very successful DPCC National weekend this past weekend (August 28-31).  Rumour made the cut in the DPCM specialty Sunday and earned an Award of Merit at the DPCC National on Saturday under Judge Vandiver.  Diesel earned Select at the DOBE specialty Friday, the DPCC National on Saturday, and was Best of Opposite Sex on Sunday at the DPCM.  At the all breed shows Diesel did well making the cut every time but once with a select win.  We’re also very proud to say that Rumour earned her Working Apptitude Evaluation on Monday August 31 under John Schoeneman!
We took a quick trip to the American DPCA nationals where Diesel showed well.  Over the Thanksgiving weekend, Diesel managed to win the breed all 6 shows, and earned a group 1, 2, 3, 3, 4, 4.  The puppies made their baby show ring debut, winning the group twice each and Quincy (Gatehouse Black Friday) won Best Baby Puppy In Show under Judge Bruce Owen.
